About

We build the systems businesses run on

PROTOCOL is a software engineering company in the Kurdistan Region. We build the software that holds the orders, the money, the stock and the staff — for businesses that have outgrown paper and spreadsheets.

What we care about

Software that a real person uses all day

Most systems are built to impress the person paying for them, not the person using them every day. We think the other way round. If the person at the counter hates the system, they will avoid it, and then the numbers inside it are never right. So our first question is always: who touches this every day, and how do we make their job easier?

How we work

From the first conversation to long after it is installed

Every project moves the same way. No step is hidden, and you are never left guessing where the work has got to.

01

Talk

We sit with you and watch how the work really moves — not how it is supposed to.

02

Plan

Before anything starts you know exactly what gets built, by when, and for how much.

03

Build

You see it working while it is being made, not only at the end.

04

Install & train

We set it up on your machines and stay until your staff use it without thinking about it.

05

Support

It keeps running. We stay reachable.

Where we stand

Four things that do not change

In your own language

Kurdish is not an afterthought here. Every system comes in Sorani and English, right to left with the proper typeface, because that is the language your staff actually work in.

A price you can see

You know the price before work starts. No surprise costs at the end, and if something new gets added we tell you what it costs before we build it.

We do not vanish after the invoice

Installing is not the end of the job. The system stays, and so do we — for fixes, for changes, and for the questions that only turn up six months later.

The system belongs to you

Your data is yours and you can take a copy out whenever you like. We do not hold your own information hostage to keep your business.
